Job Description – General Practitioner (GP)
We are seeking a qualified and experienced General Practitioner to join our clinic in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate must hold a valid DOH (HAAD) license and be committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and collect detailed medical histories.
- Manage various medical conditions in both clinic and home-care settings.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.
- Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests accurately.
- Prescribe appropriate medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions.
- Develop personalized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Provide preventive healthcare, lifestyle guidance, and routine health counselling.
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary and coordinate multidisciplinary follow-up care.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, health maintenance, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and compliant patient records.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
- Completed residency or training in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Practice.
- Valid Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi medical license.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of clinical experience in the UAE.
