Description:
Freesia Electro Mechanical Works, part of AZIZI Developments, is seeking an experienced General Manager – MEP to lead and oversee its mechanical, electrical, and plumbing operations across major projects in the UAE. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic leader with extensive experience in MEP contracting and project delivery.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project execution, leading multidisciplinary teams, overseeing financial performance, and ensuring all projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with UAE construction standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic leadership and oversee all MEP operations.
• Manage the execution of MEP projects from design coordination through final handover.
• Lead project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and profit and loss management.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across MEP projects.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in MEP contracting.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership position.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Proven experience managing large-scale MEP projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong knowledge of:
• UAE construction market, codes, and regulations.
• MEP project management and execution.
• Budgeting, cost control, and P&L management.’
