We are currently seeking a highly experienced and strategic General Manager to oversee and lead construction operations across the UAE. This senior leadership role requires a results-oriented professional with strong commercial acumen, hands-on project oversight capabilities, and a proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects while driving sustainable business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end construction operations and ensure successful project delivery across multiple sites
- Define and execute business strategies to improve operational efficiency, margins, and profitability
- Oversee budgeting, cost management, contract administration, procurement, and commercial controls
- Ensure full compliance with UAE regulations, quality benchmarks, and health & safety standards
- Manage and mentor senior leadership teams, project directors, and key functional heads
- Act as the company’s representative with clients, consultants, government authorities, and major stakeholders
Candidate Profile:
- 12–15+ years of progressive experience within the construction sector
- Demonstrated leadership in senior management roles within the UAE or GCC markets
- Strong expertise in project management, contracts, commercial operations, and governance
- Excellent leadership, strategic decision-making, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Academic background in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; MBA is an added advantage
