Description:
Aman Insurance is currently looking to hire a qualified and experienced General Claims Professional to strengthen its claims department. This opportunity is well-suited for candidates who have solid expertise in insurance claims handling and can efficiently manage both routine and complex cases.
The role involves ensuring all claims are processed in line with regulatory requirements and company standards, while maintaining high levels of accuracy and service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the complete claims process from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and accurate outcomes
• Review and process claims in compliance with insurance regulations, internal procedures, and service guidelines
• Handle complex and high-value claims, providing technical input to reduce risks and improve claim outcomes
• Conduct detailed assessments including damage verification, investigations, and policy interpretation to ensure fair settlements
• Coordinate and attend mediations, arbitrations, pre-trial meetings, and other legal proceedings alongside legal advisors and external lawyers
• Ensure accurate reserving practices and proactively identify opportunities for third-party recoveries to minimize losses
• Monitor claims performance and take steps to reduce potential leakage in the claims process
Requirements:
• 5 to 6 years of relevant experience within UAE-based Takaful or Insurance companies
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Professional certifications such as ARE, CII, CPCU, CIC, CRM, AAI, or CISR will be an added advantage
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple claims efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
