Description:
TURUQ ENGINEERING L.L.C is seeking a qualified and experienced General Accountant to join its growing team at its Sharjah office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, and preparing financial reports. Candidates with construction industry experience and strong accounting expertise are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage general accounting functions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Process payments and monitor financial transactions.
• Prepare financial reports and support routine accounting activities.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and records.
• Assist with financial record management and internal reporting.
• Support the finance team in ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience in a contracting or construction company.
• Proven experience in general accounting.
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliations, payment processing, and financial record management.
• Experience preparing financial reports and maintaining accounting documentation.
• Construction industry experience will be an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
