Description:
TrustLine Compliance Services LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented General Accountant to become part of its growing team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional with solid expertise in UAE accounting practices, financial reporting, and tax compliance who can confidently handle accounting operations from start to finish.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, and managing accounting activities for multiple clients. The role requires excellent analytical abilities, strong communication skills, and hands-on experience with Odoo Accounting Software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the complete accounting cycle independently, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and account finalization.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, including tax return preparation and submission.
• Perform bank reconciliations and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial reports using Odoo Accounting Software.
• Handle accounting and financial reporting for multiple client accounts.
• Review financial data to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Communicate professionally with clients and management regarding financial matters.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of proven accounting experience within the UAE.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and UAE accounting standards.
• Hands-on experience preparing complete financial statements from scratch.
• Mandatory experience using Odoo Accounting Software.
• Excellent knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently under deadlines.
• Previous experience in an accounting, auditing, or tax consultancy firm in the UAE will be an advantage.
