Description:
We are currently hiring a skilled and independent General Accountant to manage complete accounting operations for the organization. This role is suitable for professionals who are confident in handling accounting functions from start to finish while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.
The position is based in DIP 2, Dubai, and offers a competitive salary package for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities
- Handle VAT filing and ensure full tax compliance
- Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and monthly closing reports
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Ensure adherence to UAE accounting standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Prior experience in the FMCG sector will be considered an advantage
- Strong and mandatory knowledge of VAT and tax compliance in the UAE
- Ability to work independently and manage accounting tasks end-to-end
