Job Opening: General Accountant – Epta Accounting, Ajman
Epta Accounting, an Ajman-based professional accounting firm, is expanding its team and seeking a General Accountant to manage day-to-day client accounting tasks and support financial reporting across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the general ledger and accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare periodic financial statements, balance sheets, and client reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations, and manage petty cash transactions.
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and reconciliations.
- Support audit activities by preparing schedules and providing required documentation to auditors and clients.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant accounting experience within the UAE.
- Proficiency with accounting software systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good analytical ability, meticulous attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
- Professional attitude and ability to work effectively within a small accounting team.
