Description:
A company in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced General Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge and practical UAE experience in managing financial records, reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations.
Candidates with experience in FMCG, logistics, delivery services, or warehouse management industries will be preferred. This role offers an opportunity for accounting professionals to contribute their expertise within a growing business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and accounting statements.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Monitor financial data and ensure accuracy of accounting entries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain proper documentation for financial transactions and audits.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of UAE experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Experience in FMCG, Logistics, Delivery Services, or Warehouse Management is an advantage.
• Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage accounting tasks independently and meet deadlines.
