Description:
USALCO is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to take ownership of the full lifecycle of the company’s web-based applications. This role involves building, maintaining, and enhancing both internal and external facing portals. Collaboration with sales and product teams is essential to define requirements and ensure that applications effectively meet business needs. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
• Frontend Development: Design and develop interactive, user-friendly frontend applications for internal and external portals using JavaScript and the React Framework.
• Backend Development: Build, scale, and maintain backend APIs and data solutions, ensuring efficient communication between server and client-side applications.
• User Experience: Implement best practices in UI/UX design to optimize navigation, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices.
• Issue Resolution: Identify, diagnose, and resolve software defects and technical issues to ensure application stability and reliability.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with current programming practices and technologies, actively expanding knowledge and skills in relevant areas.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of JavaScript development experience; Vue.JS experience preferred.
• Proficiency in frontend development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
• Understanding of RESTful API Web Services.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Experience with backend programming languages (PHP, Python, Node.js, Java, C#) and frameworks (e.g., Django, .NET).
• Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack and npm.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure Active Directory, Webapps, Function Apps).
• Knowledge of database systems such as SQL.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred:
• Previous experience in Chemical manufacturing.
