Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Food Technologist to join our dynamic R&D and Quality Assurance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new food products, improving existing recipes, and ensuring compliance with UAE food safety regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and test new food products from concept to commercialization
• Modify and improve existing formulations for better shelf life, taste, and cost-efficiency
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality and UAE regulatory requirements
• Conduct sensory evaluation, stability testing, and shelf-life studies
• Collaborate with QA, production, and marketing teams on product launches
• Support documentation for HACCP, ISO 22000, and other certifications
• Stay updated with food trends, ingredients, and technologies in the GCC region

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in food product development or food processing (UAE/GCC experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and labeling requirements in the UAE
• Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory equipment handling
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus)
