Description:
We are currently looking for a responsible and experienced Fleet Incharge to oversee and manage daily fleet operations. This role involves ensuring smooth vehicle availability, compliance with UAE regulations, and effective coordination between drivers, maintenance teams, and operations departments.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, practical knowledge of fleet management, and the ability to maintain accurate records while ensuring safety and cost efficiency across all fleet activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily fleet operations including vehicle allocation, scheduling, and route planning
- Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy, available, and compliant with UAE RTA regulations
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs with approved garages
- Monitor vehicle documentation including Mulkiya, insurance, permits, and renewals
- Maintain accurate fleet records such as vehicle logs, fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance history
- Supervise drivers’ attendance, performance, conduct, and adherence to company policies
- Ensure all drivers hold valid UAE driving licenses and required operational permits
- Monitor fuel usage and implement cost-control and efficiency measures
- Handle vehicle breakdowns, accidents, traffic fines, and insurance claim processes
- Conduct driver safety briefings and ensure compliance with HSE standards
- Coordinate closely with logistics and operations teams to meet delivery timelines
- Ensure adherence to company policies, traffic laws, and safety procedures at all times
