We are currently seeking a Financial Planner / Advisor to join our remote team as a full-time employee. This role is ideal for a strategic, analytical, and client-focused professional who is passionate about helping first-generation wealth builders navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence. The position is open to U.S. residents, with a preference for candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone, and requires availability during standard business hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET). Occasional travel (3–5 times per year) is expected.
In this role, you will guide clients through all aspects of wealth management, including financial planning, investment strategy, risk management, and long-term goal alignment, while collaborating closely with internal tax, investment, and operations teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
Client Planning & Advisory Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial planning sessions to assess client goals, financial position, and risk tolerance
- Develop personalized financial plans covering investments, retirement, insurance, debt management, and tax-efficient strategies
- Review and update financial plans regularly based on market conditions and life events
- Educate clients through clear, values-driven conversations that build confidence and long-term commitment
Investment & Portfolio Strategy:
- Recommend investment strategies aligned with client objectives and firm guidelines
- Support portfolio construction and performance monitoring in collaboration with the asset management team
- Stay informed on financial markets, economic trends, and emerging investment solutions
Client Relationship Management:
- Build long-term client relationships based on trust, transparency, and results
- Act as a primary point of contact for client needs, coordinating with tax strategists and internal teams
- Communicate proactively to ensure clients feel informed, supported, and empowered
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver a cohesive wealth management experience
- Participate in training sessions and process improvement initiatives
- Stay current on regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and technology tools
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant financial or business discipline
- Active Series 65 License (mandatory)
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in financial planning or advisory roles
- Strong understanding of investment products, retirement accounts, insurance, and tax-aware planning
- Proficiency with financial planning software (such as RightCapital or similar), CRM systems, and Google Workspace
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across diverse client groups
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to fiduciary, client-first standards
