In this role, you will serve as a Remote Financial Educator supporting patients throughout their fertility care journey. You will act as a key liaison between patients, insurance providers, and clinical teams, ensuring clear financial guidance and seamless support across the care process. Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients regarding insurance benefits, coverage details, and available financial options

• Perform benefit verification and assist with prior authorization processes

• Provide ongoing financial education and support throughout the patient care journey

• Maintain and update patient financial records, including insurance and personal account information

• Serve as a liaison between patients, insurance companies, and internal departments

• Ensure accurate documentation of billing, coverage, and financial agreements

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in a medical business office or healthcare billing environment

• Strong understanding of insurance processes, billing, and patient financial systems

• Ability to interpret payer remittance advice, including adjustments, denials, and patient responsibility

• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, physicians, insurance providers, and internal teams

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, and Excel

• High level of attention to detail and strong customer service orientation

• Strong knowledge of:
• Medical billing and insurance verification processes
• Patient financial counseling and support procedures
• Healthcare revenue cycle and collections fundamentals
