Description:
Bicycle Health is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Coordinator to support patients in navigating the financial aspects of their treatment for Opioid Use Disorder. This remote, full-time role ensures that patients have the guidance, information, and support they need to manage insurance, billing, payments, and subscription renewals while helping Bicycle Health maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a guide for patients on insurance, billing inquiries, payments, and subscription renewals, preventing early discharge and ensuring timely payment for services
  • Update demographic, insurance, funding, and medical information for financial clearance
  • Research and discuss payment options with patients for non-reimbursable services
  • Monitor patient accounts receivable and work with patients on timely payments or alternative plans
  • Communicate financial information to clinical or CSS teams as needed
  • Master and utilize technology tools including Freshworks mobile app, Bitrix, G-suite, Zoom, Athena EMR, Kareo, and billing systems to engage with patients effectively
  • Maintain accurate patient financial records and promptly respond to patient messages
  • Develop and implement processes to improve financial care and support for patients
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in high-touch customer service or healthcare
  • Proficiency with computers, typing, internet navigation, and multiple software systems simultaneously
  • Experience with Mac/Apple and Google Suite preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills for patient and internal team interaction
  • Knowledge of insurance plans, patient financial responsibilities (co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles), and ability to propose appropriate options
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working on collaborative, diverse, feedback-driven teams; remote team experience a plus
  • Ability to adapt under pressure and demonstrate initiative
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Access to a private, professional remote workspace with high-speed internet

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday: 12:00 pm–8:30 pm EST
