Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Financial Clerk to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong financial and administrative skills, as well as a passion for providing excellent service to patients and supporting our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and record all financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and reimbursements
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding billing and payments
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and respond to financial inquiries
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate financial processes
- Comply with all financial regulations and company policies
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in finance or accounting preferred
- Experience in financial or administrative roles
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic accounting software
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of healthcare billing and insurance processes is a plus
