Description:
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a diligent Financial Assistance Specialist to manage and maintain charity accounts, ensuring they are fully documented and accurately adjusted. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and capable of supporting financial assistance operations across the organization.

Essential Functions of the Role:
• Ensure all approved charity accounts are fully documented to support necessary adjustments
• Gather data from the Docudata application to facilitate required charity adjustments
• Create worksheets for approved charity accounts that lack documentation
• Review charity reports daily to ensure secondary and tertiary accounts are adjusted promptly
• Process incoming charity-related correspondence
• Cross-train on responsibilities of the Charity Coordinator position
• Maintain consistent communication with Financial Assistance Representatives at each facility to resolve account issues and confirm adjustments are posted
