We’re Hiring | Financial Analyst

Ampcus Inc., a global provider of Technology and Business consulting services, is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join its dynamic team in San Francisco, CA, operating in a hybrid work model. This role is responsible for managing high volumes of invoices, ensuring timely payments, maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards, and supporting efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of invoices, ensuring prompt payment and compliance with internal policies
  • Obtain necessary approvals for invoices and verify adherence to budget guidelines
  • Process, code, and review invoices and credit memos with accuracy
  • Research and resolve complex invoice issues, including electronic discrepancies and unpaid invoices
  • Assist in managing accounts payable documents and related records
  • Apply sales and use tax requirements accurately on invoices
  • Identify transactions subject to 1099 reporting and ensure proper documentation
  • Audit and process expense reports to ensure policy compliance
  • Resolve expense report and invoice issues, making necessary adjustments
  • Provide guidance to departments on procure-to-pay, travel expenses, and reimbursement policies
  • Manage invoices and expense reports in online systems such as PeopleSoft, Concur, or Workday
  • Review and approve payment requests ensuring complete documentation and policy adherence
  • Generate departmental reports, operational monitoring, and ad-hoc financial analysis
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure work queues are managed within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 1–2 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
  • Experience with online Accounts Payable systems (PeopleSoft, ERP systems)
  • Proficiency in Excel for managing large datasets and reporting
  • Knowledge of sales/use tax and 1099 reporting requirements
  • Familiarity with online expense reimbursement systems (Concur, Workday)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent comprehension and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage workload effectively
