Businessolver is seeking a highly analytical and systems-driven Financial Analyst to join its Finance organization on a remote, full-time basis within the United States. In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams to analyze complex financial and operational data, support planning and forecasting processes, and translate financial insights into meaningful business actions. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy driver-based modeling, scenario analysis, and turning financial variance into strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities (The Gig):
- Act as a subject matter expert for expense and headcount management across assigned business functions
- Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis, headcount reviews, and expense trend insights for leadership
- Actively participate in quarterly forecasting cycles and annual financial planning processes
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business lines to understand financial drivers and identify opportunities to improve performance
- Identify, interpret, and present key performance insights to managers and senior leadership, including actionable recommendations
- Promote financial discipline by communicating financial and operational guidelines and driving accountability through analytical support and decision-making tools
What You Need to Make the Cut:
- 1–3 years of experience in FP&A or Strategic Finance, preferably within a SaaS or technology-enabled services environment
- Hands-on experience with driver-based financial modeling and variance analysis
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Advanced Excel modeling skills with strong analytical aptitude; experience with EPM tools such as Adaptive or Anaplan is a plus
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial analysis into practical options and actions
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for this position is $53,000 – $83,000, based on education, experience, skills, internal equity, and geographic market considerations. Eligible employees will also receive a comprehensive benefits package.
