Description:
Binary Defense is looking for a skilled FP&A Financial Analyst to support the company’s planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, providing actionable insights that shape future performance. This role also contributes to data management, operational reporting, and ad hoc analyses to assist management in informed decision-making.
Responsibilities:
• Perform quantitative analysis and reporting of operational and financial data
• Build and maintain financial models by organizing and analyzing diverse data sources
• Prepare internal financial reports by collecting, analyzing, formatting, and presenting data in an organized manner
• Analyze product and customer margins and overall performance
• Evaluate ROI for new projects and investment opportunities
• Collaborate across the finance team and organization on system implementations and best practices
• Assist with other projects and responsibilities as assigned by the manager
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• 3-5 years of combined financial analysis/FP&A experience, including financial modeling
• Experience with cloud-based accounting systems and data management platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel and IT systems
• Inquisitive mindset and attention to detail
• Strong presentation creation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in cybersecurity and/or SaaS environments
• Familiarity with subscription-based recurring revenue business models
