Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst – FP&A to join our Finance Department and provide strong analytical support across budgeting, reporting, and business performance monitoring. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager – FP&A & Taxation and will be based at our DWC office near Al Maktoum International Airport.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Budgeting & Forecasting
• Assist in building annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and rolling financial projections.
• Support the consolidation of multi-country financials while validating core operational assumptions.
• Develop, refine, and maintain comprehensive financial models for strategic planning and scenario analysis.
• Align with various stakeholders to gather budget inputs related to Capex, Opex, and headcount as per corporate schedules.
2. Management Reporting
• Prepare detailed monthly FP&A presentations with variance analysis compared to Budget, Forecast, and previous year results.
• Consolidate data using Oracle EBS and OneStream to create management packs and review reports for senior leadership.
• Ensure accuracy, coherence, and consistency of financial data across all reporting outputs.
• Contribute to the preparation of Quarterly Business Review (QBR) decks and internal performance updates.
3. Performance & KPI Analysis
• Monitor and interpret key business indicators such as sales volumes, cost per case, margins, warehousing costs, distribution performance, and working capital usage.
• Identify risks, potential opportunities, and operational factors influencing financial performance.
• Lead root-cause analysis for significant variances and recommend actions to improve profitability and efficiency.
4. Process Improvement & Systems Support
• Collaborate with the FP&A team on automation projects and dashboard enhancements across Excel, Power BI, and OneStream.
• Assist with data reconciliation between Oracle, OneStream, and internal monitoring tools.
• Promote standardization of reporting templates and maintain documentation for FP&A workflows.
• Support monthly roll-forward updates, trend tracking, and data validation to ensure accurate reporting cycles.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and related teams to connect operational performance with financial outcomes.
• Support creation of presentations and analytics for regional and local finance stakeholders.
• Provide detailed analysis for business cases, pricing assessments, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate with IT and Data teams to enhance systems used for FP&A reporting and analysis.
