Description:
An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Financial Accountant to join the Finance – Reporting & Control team in Dubai. The company is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional who can contribute to financial reporting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, supporting budgeting activities, and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and accounting standards. Immediate joining is preferred for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and journal entries.
• Handle intercompany transactions and ensure accurate financial recording.
• Perform account reconciliations and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports for internal stakeholders.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, UAE regulations, and internal company policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant accounting, reporting, and audit experience.
• Minimum 3 years of UAE accounting experience is mandatory.
• Strong background in financial reporting and external audits.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Financial reporting and accounting principles.
• UAE accounting regulations and compliance requirements.
• ACCA, CPA, CMA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualifications (preferred).
