Description:
Public Consulting Group (PCG) is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Specialist to support multiple business teams and portfolios within the organization. This role focuses on ensuring accurate client contracts, invoicing, and revenue recognition, while collaborating closely with both corporate finance and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business teams to manage multiple project portfolios
- Ensure client contracts and invoicing are accurately entered into Workday
- Review and approve client invoices for accuracy
- Coordinate with business teams and clients to ensure timely issuance and payment of invoices
- Ensure revenue recognition aligns with client contracts, U.S. GAAP, and PCG policies
- Engage stakeholders to automate and improve business processes
- Assist project teams with additional responsibilities as needed
Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable interacting across all organizational levels
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Independent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work streams simultaneously
- Adaptability to frequent interruptions and shifting priorities
- Process improvement mindset with initiative to seek solutions
- Knowledge of accounting processes and procedures in medium to large organizations
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Teams and Excel
- Experience with Workday (including Adaptive Planning) and Microsoft Dynamics is an asset
- High level of discretion when handling confidential information
Working Conditions:
- Remote role with preference for Eastern or Central Time working hours
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation for this position ranges from $60,000 to $80,000
- Benefits include medical and dental coverage, 401k, PTO, parental leave, and bereavement leave
