Description:
Ambry Genetics is seeking a proactive and analytical Finance Manager to join our high-impact Finance Business Partnering team. This role will act as the primary financial partner for multiple operationally intensive departments, including Clinical Lab, Clinical Diagnostics, PMO, Quality Assurance, and Medical Affairs. The position combines core financial execution with strategic partnership, ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.

Essential Functions / Material Job Duties:
• Serve as the dedicated Finance partner to 5+ departments, including key COGS functions
• Lead monthly forecasting cycles, headcount planning, and variance analysis
• Collaborate with department leads to align financial planning with operational goals
• Present financial insights and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders
• Track and analyze material cost trends and inventory movements
• Partner with Procurement and Operations on cost-saving initiatives
• Support visibility into gross margin drivers and cost structure optimization
• Lead monthly CAPEX forecasting and tracking for assigned departments
• Assist with business case development and post-investment ROI reviews
• Prepare financial deliverables for monthly Ops Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows through automation or reporting enhancements
• Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite)
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to senior stakeholders
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in a matrixed environment
