Description:
Kandas Group is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team in Dubai Industrial City. This role requires a professional with strong expertise in financial control, cost monitoring, and project management within the contracting or interior fit-out industry. The Finance Manager will play a vital role in ensuring projects remain financially efficient while providing leadership to the finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee cost control systems for both projects and production activities.
- Review project BOQs, budgets, and timelines to ensure adherence to financial targets.
- Monitor expenses related to materials, labor, and overhead, identifying early signs of potential overruns.
- Collaborate closely with project, production, and procurement teams to align financial strategies with operational execution.
- Prepare cost variance reports and propose corrective actions when required.
- Conduct monthly financial reviews to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the finance team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting; additional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are highly valued.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in cost control and financial management within construction, interior fit-out, or manufacturing industries.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project costing, financial monitoring, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
