Description:
Banza, the innovative food company that transforms comfort foods using chickpeas, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join their growing finance team. Reporting to the Senior Director, this role collaborates with executive management and stakeholders across the organization to enhance financial planning, reporting, and analysis. The Finance Associate will support Banza’s financial operations, contribute to process improvements, and provide actionable insights to help drive business decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain, analyze, and develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for key business leaders
• Coordinate budget and forecast processes cross-functionally
• Manage live P&L flash process
• Develop financial analyses and reporting aligned with short-term and long-term business needs
• Build a strong understanding of the company’s P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow dynamics
• Innovate processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, and best practices
• Maintain core operating and financial models and internal/external board deck materials
• Assist in ROI evaluation for company initiatives and report progress to stakeholders
• Provide analytical support for monthly and quarterly board meetings
• Partner with manufacturing management to track reporting of manufacturing data and KPIs
• Ensure system and financial data integrity and accuracy
Candidate Requirements:
• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, Corporate/Strategic Finance, Private Equity, or Investment Banking, ideally in high-growth CPG
• Advanced Excel skills with strong modeling and analytical capabilities
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite; Tableau or SQL is a plus
• Solutions-oriented, detail-focused, and adept at managing large datasets
• Strong understanding of financial statements and ability to link commercial activity to financial outcomes
• Creative problem solver with experience in financial reporting and model building
• Emotionally intelligent, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary range: $80,000 – $110,000
• Equity in Banza and annual bonus
