Description:
Algebra Contracting is seeking a motivated Estimator & Procurement Engineer with prior UAE experience in the fit-out and joinery sector. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, market knowledge, and the ability to manage cost estimations while coordinating with clients, suppliers, and project teams. Immediate joiners already based in the UAE are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and respond to client inquiries while offering professional guidance
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, quotations, and tender submissions
- Review project drawings, specifications, and materials to determine requirements
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Support the budgeting and cost control process within project teams
- Keep the CRM system updated with client communications and project details
- Conduct site visits and participate in client meetings as required
- Clarify project scope and coordinate with site execution teams and stakeholders
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other departments for smooth execution
- Assist in preparing bid proposals, tender documentation, and project submissions
- Provide mentorship and support to junior estimators when necessary
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of hands-on UAE experience in fit-out and joinery estimation
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred but not mandatory)
- Strong understanding of UAE market pricing, materials, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong command of English communication, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software tools
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Immediate availability preferred for quick onboarding
