Description:
Safeland Interiors is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to join its growing team in the UAE. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in MEP and Interior Fit-Out estimation who possess strong analytical skills and a passion for preparing accurate and competitive project cost estimates.
The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and project cost estimates while supporting the tendering process. Immediate joiners with a willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic construction environment are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate project cost estimates for MEP and Interior Fit-Out works.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Review MEP and architectural drawings to determine project requirements.
• Assist in preparing competitive tender submissions and cost proposals.
• Coordinate with project teams to obtain technical and commercial information.
• Maintain estimation records and support continuous improvement of estimating processes.
• Ensure estimates are prepared accurately while meeting project deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in MEP and Interior Fit-Out estimation.
• Basic understanding of MEP systems and interior fit-out works.
• Ability to interpret MEP and architectural drawings.
• Knowledge of quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with estimation software is an added advantage.
• Willingness to learn tendering procedures and cost estimation processes.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
• MEP systems and Interior Fit-Out estimation.
• Quantity take-offs, BOQs, and tender documentation.
• MS Excel and estimation software applications.
