About the Role:
You will prepare detailed take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for sports fields and landscaped areas, compile rate analyses, and validate supplier and subcontractor quotations. A strong understanding of turf systems, irrigation layouts, sub-base preparation, and surface finishes is essential to produce competitive and technically sound bids.

Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Civil or Agricultural Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of estimation experience, ideally in sports turf or related civil/landscape works.
• Solid knowledge of natural/artificial turf systems, irrigation networks, drainage layers, and sub-grade preparation.
• Proven analytical skills with a cost-conscious, client-focused mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; able to present and defend estimates clearly.

Core Responsibilities:
• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost build-ups for turf construction and maintenance projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and site information to identify scope, assumptions, and risks.
• Source and compare supplier/subcontractor quotes for materials, turf systems, irrigation components, and civil works.
• Develop rate analyses, preliminaries, and contingencies; ensure estimates reflect market conditions.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to validate constructability, sequencing, and resource needs.
• Support tender submissions with technical clarifications, value-engineering suggestions, and pricing notes.
• Maintain an organized database of prices, productivity benchmarks, and historical cost data for continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring:
• Detail orientation, strong numeracy, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with estimation tools, MS Office, and reading technical drawings.
• A collaborative approach when liaising with vendors and internal stakeholders to keep bids accurate and competitive.
