Blue Biofuels Factory LLC is a leading biodiesel production facility committed to sustainability and innovation in the renewable energy sector. We convert used cooking oil (UCO) into high-quality biodiesel in line with international standards and environmental compliance frameworks such as ISCC.
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join our operations team.
Position Overview:
The Electrical Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment across our biofuels process plant. The role requires hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems, preferably in biodiesel or chemical process industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of electrical systems and control panels across the plant.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, drives (VFDs), PLCs, and process instrumentation.
- Ensure proper functioning of all power distribution systems (LT panels, MCCs, UPS, etc.).
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment and electrical upgrades.
- Monitor compliance with safety procedures and electrical codes.
- Coordinate with process and instrumentation teams for equipment integration.
- Maintain accurate documentation and logbooks for electrical maintenance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in an industrial process plant, preferably biofuels, chemical, or oil & gas.
- Strong knowledge of electrical drawings, wiring, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems.
- Familiar with PLC/SCADA-based automation systems and field instrumentation.
- UAE experience or knowledge of local regulations is an added advantage.
- Ability to work in shifts and respond to plant emergencies.
