Description:
MegatronX General Contracting & Maintenance L.L.C is currently hiring an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to join its team in the UAE. The role is focused on supporting and managing ongoing high-voltage infrastructure projects across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in electrical site execution, particularly in high-voltage systems, underground cable installation, and substation works. Immediate joiners will be preferred for this opportunity.
This position is best suited for professionals who have worked on complex electrical infrastructure projects and are capable of handling site responsibilities with minimal supervision while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage electrical site activities for high-voltage projects
• Oversee 11kV and 22kV underground cable installation works
• Coordinate installation and commissioning of substation components
• Ensure proper execution of HV Transformers, HV Panels, and LV Panels
• Manage solar PV integration works on site
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and consultants
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in high-voltage electrical projects
• Strong experience in 11kV & 22kV underground cable installation
• Experience in substation works including HV/LV systems
• Previous experience with TAQA / ADDC projects preferred
• TAQA Competency Card preferred
• Equivalency Certificate or ADQCC Certificate is mandatory
• TAQA-E1 Certification is an added advantage
• Strong technical and site management skills
Strong knowledge of:
• High-voltage electrical systems and installations
• Underground cable laying and commissioning
• Substation equipment (Transformers, HV & LV Panels)
• Solar PV integration systems
• Electrical safety and compliance standards
