City Seasons Al Hamra Hotel in Abu Dhabi is currently seeking a skilled and proactive EHS Assistant Manager (Environmental Health & Safety) to join their operations team. This role is ideal for professionals who are committed to maintaining high standards of workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental responsibility within a hospitality environment.

The selected candidate will support the hotel in ensuring that all health, safety, and environmental procedures are effectively implemented across departments. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can conduct safety assessments, maintain compliance with UAE regulations, and promote a culture of safety among staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of the hotel’s Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments across different operational areas of the hotel
• Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations as well as local authority requirements
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss events and recommend preventive and corrective actions
• Organize and conduct fire drills, emergency response exercises, and safety awareness sessions for employees
• Maintain accurate safety records, documentation, and compliance reports for internal and external audits
• Coordinate with relevant government authorities and external safety auditors when necessary
• Monitor waste management systems, sustainability initiatives, and environmental best practices
• Ensure proper usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe working practices among employees
• Support hotel management in maintaining a safe, compliant, and well-managed working environment

Requirements:
• Currently based in the United Arab Emirates
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, preferably within the hospitality sector or a similar industry
• Strong knowledge of UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits
• Strong documentation, reporting, and compliance management skills
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is considered an advantage
• Ability to conduct safety training programs and awareness sessions for employees
• Strong leadership abilities with effective problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and respond efficiently during emergencies
• High level of professionalism with strong attention to detail
