Gannett Co., Inc., a leading media company with a national and local presence, is seeking a skilled eCommerce Specialist to manage and grow the USA TODAY Network online store. This remote position focuses on enhancing the user experience, optimizing product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory management while implementing strategies to increase revenue and engagement. The ideal candidate should have a passion for sports, books, travel, and media merchandise and possess strong analytical and digital marketing skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Merchandise/Content Planning: Align store products with content plans, key events, and sporting events to drive sales through articles and media platforms.
• Managing Online Sales Channels: Oversee and optimize online monetization of the USA TODAY Network store.
• Digital Marketing: Develop and execute strategies to increase product visibility, traffic, and conversion rates.
• SEO: Optimize website content and structure to improve organic search rankings.
• Data Analysis: Monitor KPIs, analyze sales and monetization data, and identify growth opportunities.
• Inventory Management: Ensure accurate product information and manage stock levels online.
• E-commerce Platform Management: Process orders, manage products, and handle payments via the e-commerce platform.
• Collaboration: Work with content commerce, monetization, consumer, and product teams to integrate the online store with content plans.
• Customer Service: Address customer inquiries related to store products.
• Staying Current: Keep up-to-date with e-commerce trends and best practices.

Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in consumer brand eCommerce, especially with sports, books, or media publications.
• Proficiency with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, SEO, digital marketing tools, and data analysis software.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
