Description:

The Barcode Group is seeking an eCommerce Content Specialist to manage, optimize, and maintain product content across major online marketplaces including Amazon, Walmart, Target, and other digital retail platforms. The role supports high-volume accounts and focuses on product setup, catalog maintenance, content optimization, and marketplace troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central, advanced Excel skills, and strong product copywriting abilities. This position requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage large amounts of product information while coordinating with clients, designers, account managers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete new product setup and catalog updates across multiple eCommerce marketplaces.

• Create and optimize product titles, descriptions, bullet points, keywords, and attributes.

• Manage product variations, images, videos, and enhanced marketplace content.

• Maintain accurate product information using Excel, flat files, and marketplace templates.

• Create and manage cases through Vendor Central, Seller Central, and Brand Registry.

• Troubleshoot listing errors, suppressed listings, variation problems, and content conflicts.

• Review product detail pages and identify opportunities for optimization.

• Coordinate with designers, account managers, clients, and internal teams regarding content requirements.

• Communicate updates, clarify requirements, and resolve marketplace-related issues.

• Track project progress, missing information, deadlines, and marketplace updates.

• Assist with social media content scheduling and publishing when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Amazon Vendor Central or Seller Central.

• Experience with new item setup, catalog management, and marketplace flat files.

• Strong product copywriting and Amazon SEO knowledge.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, filters, and data validation.

• Experience managing product variations and resolving catalog issues.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple brands and competing deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
