Description:
Lutfi Group is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented E-Commerce Accountant to support its growing online retail operations. This role is ideal for accounting professionals with experience managing financial activities across e-commerce platforms while ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
The successful candidate will oversee online sales accounting, payment gateway and marketplace reconciliations, inventory tracking, VAT reporting, and financial record management. Working closely with multiple departments, you will help maintain efficient financial operations and support business growth through accurate reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record and reconcile daily transactions from online sales channels.
• Perform reconciliations for payment gateways such as PayTabs, Telr, Stripe, and Amazon Pay.
• Reconcile settlements from marketplaces including Amazon, Noon, and Carrefour Marketplace.
• Monitor refunds, returns, cancellations, and chargeback transactions.
• Reconcile bank accounts and payment gateway statements regularly.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Process supplier invoices and customer refund transactions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare VAT reports.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, customer service, and e-commerce teams.
• Assist with budgeting, audits, and year-end financial closing activities.
• Maintain accounting records using ERP systems.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in an e-commerce environment.
• UAE work experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and Power Query.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Amazon Seller Central, Noon Seller Lab, Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento.
• Inventory accounting principles.
• Payment gateway reconciliation processes.
• Managing high transaction volumes while meeting deadlines.
