Description:
Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, a top U.S. law firm with 10 offices nationwide, is seeking an experienced E-Billing Specialist. This fully remote role supports multiple offices including Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Anchorage, New York, and Washington D.C., providing flexibility while maintaining a connection to regional offices.
The E-Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate submission of electronic invoices, maintaining progress reports for submitted and rejected invoices, monitoring client and vendor system requirements, and other accounting-related tasks. Strong communication with clients, attorneys, staff, and vendor support is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit electronic invoices on time and ensure compliance with client e-billing requirements.
- Upload and manage invoices on eBillingHub and 50+ vendor sites.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex e-billing issues independently.
- Partner with clients and attorneys to address rejected or pending invoices.
- Maintain detailed client and vendor notes including specific requirements.
- Create and upload client accrual spreadsheets as needed.
- Manually edit invoices to meet client submission requirements.
- Maintain client vendor sites, reconcile firm and client information, and update rates, budgets, or status reports.
- Implement new e-billing clients and vendors, including mapping and setup in relevant software.
- Assist with other accounting projects as assigned.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years in an accounting department, preferably in a law firm or professional services supporting multiple offices.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- Strong prioritization, multi-tasking, and independent work capability.
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and data-oriented.
- Knowledge of eBillingHub, BillBlast, Aderant, Elite 3E, or similar software preferred.
- Excellent customer service, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
