Description:
DEOW International is hiring an experienced Documentation Head to join its Logistics and Freight Forwarding operations in JAFZA, Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with extensive logistics documentation expertise and hands-on experience managing import and export processes within the UAE.
The selected candidate will oversee documentation activities, ensure compliance with customs and shipping procedures, and coordinate with customers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities. Candidates with JAFZA experience and the ability to join immediately will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage logistics documentation for import and export shipments.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, bills of entry, and invoices.
• Coordinate with customers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities.
• Ensure compliance with customs clearance and shipping procedures.
• Monitor documentation accuracy and maintain organized records.
• Support smooth logistics operations through effective team coordination.
Requirements:
• Strong experience in logistics documentation.
• JAFZA experience is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of import and export documentation.
• Familiarity with customs clearance and shipping procedures.
• Experience handling bills of entry, shipping documents, and invoices.
• Strong coordination skills with customers, freight forwarders, and customs.
• Excellent communication and team management skills.
