About the role
KLDiscovery, a leading national eDiscovery provider, is hiring licensed attorneys to perform project-based Document Review work remotely. Reviewers will evaluate and code documents for complex litigation matters using electronic review platforms, helping determine relevance, confidentiality, and privilege. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who want practical litigation experience across a variety of matters while working from home.
Position Details:
▪ Work model: Remote, work-from-home.
▪ Pay rate: $28 per hour.
▪ Duration: Project-dependent (typically 1 week to 6 months; may extend).
▪ Schedule: Flexible scheduling but must commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week within review windows (7 AM–7 PM Mon–Thu; 7 AM–5 PM Fri).
▪ Overtime: May be available depending on project/client needs.
▪ Status: Project-based, contingent/temporary engagement.
Qualifications:
▪ Must currently reside in one of these states: Alabama, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, or North Dakota.
▪ Active license to practice law and in good standing with at least one U.S. jurisdiction bar (required).
▪ Prior experience with electronic document review platforms (e.g., Nebula, Relativity) preferred.
▪ Familiarity coding documents for responsiveness, relevancy, confidentiality, and privilege is preferred.
▪ Experience with quality control, privilege logs and redaction logs is a plus.
▪ Secure home office with high-speed internet and a computer running Windows 10/11 or macOS Ventura (13), Sonoma (14), Sequoia (15) or newer.
▪ Phone or tablet with Apple OS 16+ or Android OS 16+ is required.
▪ Strong technical comfort with remote-work tools and platforms.
▪ Excellent attention to detail, prioritization skills, critical thinking, and clear written/verbal communication.
