DAR is currently looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Document Controller to join its team in the UAE. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling, organizing, and maintaining all project-related documentation in accordance with internal standards and specific project requirements. This role plays a critical part in ensuring document accuracy, traceability, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, record, and distribute incoming and outgoing project documents in a timely and controlled manner
• Maintain up-to-date document registers, logs, and tracking records
• Ensure proper filing systems, version control, and accurate document distribution
• Coordinate closely with project teams, consultants, and contractors regarding document submissions and updates
• Monitor and enforce compliance with established document control procedures
• Provide accurate and current documentation support during internal and external audits
• Safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of all project records
Requirements:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• 3 to 7 years of proven experience as a Document Controller within consultancy or construction projects
• Strong understanding of document control processes and industry best practices
• Hands-on experience with EDMS platforms will be considered an advantage
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, Aconex, and Unifier systems
