We are currently seeking a Remote Docketing Specialist to support our legal teams by managing court dates, deadlines, and filings with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and update court dates, deadlines, and events in the docketing system.
  • Review pleadings, motions, and legal documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Partner with attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to meet filing deadlines.
  • Verify docket entries meet court and jurisdictional rules.
  • Research court rules and procedures and provide updates to the team.
  • Suggest improvements to streamline departmental processes.
  • Support team projects and perform duties as assigned by the Docketing Manager.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across offices to maintain effective communication.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of litigation docketing experience in a law firm or legal department.
  • Experience with rule-based calendaring software (CourtAlert is a plus).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Clear and respectful communication skills.
  • Ability to organize work, manage deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Problem-solving skills and a willingness to research answers independently.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
