We are currently seeking a Digital Strategist who is both strategic and hands-on. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting big-picture goals with data-informed digital strategies that deliver real-world results. Paid media will be a core focus of this position, along with active involvement in email marketing, digital fundraising, and organic social campaigns. You will work closely with designers, developers, writers, and senior strategists to bring impactful campaigns to life for mission-driven clients.

Paid Media Strategy & Execution:

  • Lead paid media strategy, planning, and daily execution across platforms such as Meta, Google Search & Display, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and programmatic channels.
  • Develop audience segmentation, targeting, retargeting, and lookalike strategies to ensure effective reach and engagement.
  • Own campaign optimization including bidding strategies, creative testing, pacing, restructuring, and budget management to maximize ROI.
  • Implement and maintain accurate tracking using GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, CAPI, Google Ads tags, and UTM frameworks.
  • Analyze performance data and present insights using GA4, platform dashboards, and Looker Studio, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure attribution accuracy while accounting for privacy changes such as iOS updates and cookie limitations.

Digital Strategy Support:

  • Contribute to multi-channel digital strategies across web, email, SMS, organic social, paid media, and emerging platforms.
  • Support campaigns designed to increase awareness, grow supporter lists, and drive engagement and fundraising.
  • Conduct research to inform audience targeting, messaging, and channel selection.
  • Assist with content scheduling, reviews, and ongoing optimization efforts.
  • Stay up to date on digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices, sharing insights with the broader team.
  • Collaborate closely with senior strategists, designers, and project managers to maintain alignment across projects.

Digital Creative Execution:

  • Draft and edit digital copy aligned with brand voice and strategic goals.
  • Work collaboratively with creative and development teams to meet client objectives and deadlines.
  • Review and proof content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and quality.

Department & Team Contribution:

  • Participate in internal initiatives to strengthen Teal’s digital capabilities and processes.
  • Share learnings from client work to improve workflows and best practices.
  • Support new business efforts through research, reporting, and idea development when needed.
  • Provide guidance and peer feedback to junior team members when appropriate.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 4–6 years of digital marketing experience, preferably in an agency or consulting environment.
  • Proven experience managing multi-channel campaigns from planning through execution and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of paid media, email marketing, social media, web, and analytics.
  • Ability to translate data into clear strategies and recommendations.
  • Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and motivated to grow into a leadership role.

Work Location:

  • Fully Remote (United States-based)
