This part-time, fully remote role allows experts to contribute to the development of next-generation multimodal AI systems by analyzing video clips and images and creating structured, detailed annotations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze short video clips and images to extract meaningful visual, contextual, and narrative information
- Generate structured annotations describing subjects, objects, environments, actions, emotional tones, and storytelling elements
- Assess how visuals convey mood, narrative flow, and thematic content
- Apply critical judgment to select accurate and nuanced descriptors for each scene
- Document findings clearly and consistently according to project standards
- Collaborate asynchronously with project leads to ensure high-quality annotation outputs
Ideal Qualifications:
- Background in film production, editing, screenwriting, media studies, archival work, or hands-on visual storytelling experience
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to visual detail
- Ability to capture subtle narrative, emotional, or symbolic aspects in visuals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with structured annotation guidelines and adapting to project changes
