Auralis Group, a fast-growing IT consulting firm expanding from Germany to the US, is seeking a talented DevOps Software Engineer to join our US team. We bring German engineering standards—precision, reliability, and ownership—to enterprise cloud infrastructure. This role is fully remote and US-based, offering real ownership of projects from architecture design through production deployment, along with a share of revenue generated for clients.
What You’ll Own:
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure (handling 10k+ requests/second)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that development teams actually want to use
- Make architecture decisions and take ownership of outcomes
- Collaborate directly with client engineering teams on real-world infrastructure challenges
- Mentor other engineers as the US team grows
Requirements:
- 6+ years hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure
- Deep expertise with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi)
- Production-level container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, or similar)
- Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or similar languages
- Comfortable communicating directly with clients without hiding behind tickets
Nice to Have:
- GitOps experience (ArgoCD, Flux)
- Familiarity with state management tools like TerraSync Rapid
- Security/compliance background (SOC 2, HIPAA)
- Relevant certifications, though practical experience is prioritized
