This role will take ownership of the complete developer journey — from awareness and onboarding to long-term engagement and advocacy — while working closely with Product, Growth, Developer Experience, and Documentation teams.

This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys working with technical audiences, understands APIs and SDKs deeply, and knows how to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging across multiple platforms including GitHub, Stack Overflow, Discord, Reddit, webinars, documentation, and lifecycle marketing campaigns.

What You’ll Own & Do

Developer Community & Engagement

  • Establish a consistent rhythm of developer workshops, webinars, and office hours
  • Create a continuous and scalable developer engagement strategy

Developer Docs & Learning

  • Partner with Documentation and Developer Experience teams to enhance usability and clarity
  • Shape tutorials, quick-start guides, recipes, and real-world sample projects
  • Define best practices for API storytelling and developer onboarding experiences

Developer Events & Advocacy

  • Plan and execute virtual and in-person developer-focused events
  • Build and scale a Developer Advocate Program involving internal experts and external champions
  • Support product launches with demos, walkthroughs, sample applications, and technical narratives

Performance & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Collaborate with Growth teams on developer-focused campaigns
  • Track and optimize the developer funnel from awareness through activation
  • Design automated, personalized nurture journeys and progressive learning paths

PR & Review Programs

  • Build relationships with technical publications and reviewer communities
  • Coordinate developer case studies, reviews, and ecosystem partnerships
  • Own and refine Sinch’s developer-facing market narrative

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience marketing to developers, engineers, or technical audiences
  • Ability to write, review, or refine technically accurate content including APIs, SDKs, and tutorials
  • Strong understanding of GitHub workflows and developer community dynamics
  • Experience engaging audiences on platforms such as Stack Overflow, Reddit, and Discord
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on growth and optimization
  • Bonus: Experience in CPaaS, SaaS, or DevTools with hands-on coding familiarity
