A reputable IT services company is currently hiring a skilled and proactive Desktop Support Engineer to join its technical team in Al Ain. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing end-user IT support, maintaining system performance, and ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
This role is ideal for IT professionals who have strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience in managing desktops, laptops, printers, Windows/macOS systems, and Microsoft 365 environments. The company is seeking a candidate who can efficiently resolve technical issues while ensuring high levels of user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and related IT hardware
• Support Windows and macOS operating systems and Office 365 applications
• Diagnose and resolve LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity and networking issues
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and corporate software access via Active Directory
• Provide technical support and resolve user IT tickets in a timely manner
• Ensure smooth functioning of Microsoft 365 services and user environments
• Maintain IT documentation and support system updates when required
• Deliver high-quality customer support and ensure user satisfaction
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of experience in IT support or desktop support roles
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, TCP/IP networking, Active Directory, and Office 365
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Al Ain, UAE
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certifications are an advantage
