Description:
Dubai Holding Group is currently looking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Department Manager to oversee retail department operations across its Abu Dhabi locations. This role is ideal for a results-oriented retail professional who can lead teams effectively, drive sales performance, and maintain high standards of customer service within a fast-paced retail environment.
The selected candidate will play a key role in managing daily store operations, ensuring sales targets are consistently achieved, and creating a motivating atmosphere for the team. The position requires strong leadership skills, commercial awareness, and hands-on experience in retail management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily department operations, including sales performance, team supervision, and stock management
- Develop and implement strategies to increase department revenue and meet monthly sales targets
- Coach, mentor, and train staff members to enhance productivity and customer engagement
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Ensure high standards of visual merchandising and maintain appealing product displays
- Monitor stock levels, manage inventory control, and ensure proper stock rotation
- Maintain product quality and coordinate replenishment as required
- Deliver outstanding customer service and address customer concerns professionally
- Prepare and review department performance reports to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of retail experience in a management or supervisory capacity
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of visual merchandising standards and inventory management practices
