We are seeking a Deliverability Specialist to join our Email team, focusing on ensuring optimal email delivery across the Mailgun and Mailjet platforms. This role is essential for auditing and resolving reputation issues and advocating best email practices for both customers and teammates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and improve sending infrastructure reputation to maintain high delivery rates
  • Investigate, diagnose, and remediate delivery and deliverability issues, collaborating with customers, internal teams, mailbox providers, and anti-spam vendors
  • Analyze Delivery Status Notification (DSN) messages to optimize bounce classification
  • Assist Deliverability Engineers in reviewing and managing IP inventory
  • Use data from billions of SMTP connections to identify limits and propose improvements
  • Support onboarding and ongoing client support with Deliverability Services teams
  • Collaborate with Reputation Engineering to implement platform enhancements
  • Represent Sinch Email in the email industry community, including events like M3AAWG

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a platform-centric email deliverability role
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end email delivery (IP addresses, DNS, SMTP, authentication)
  • Familiarity with ISP/domain delivery policies, best practices, and anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, CASL)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and act swiftly to support internal teams and customers
  • Proficiency with data analytics tools (e.g., Kibana) to analyze and report delivery data
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking responsibility with autonomy
  • Ability to work with a distributed team and flexible schedule for coverage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing
