🚀 Role Overview:
LucidLink is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Deal Desk Manager to oversee commission operations and sales compensation processes. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Finance, and Revenue Operations and plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, timely, and transparent compensation management across the organization.
The position also includes secondary responsibilities in pricing execution and CPQ administration, making it a key role in supporting the full revenue lifecycle.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end commission operations, including monthly calculation, validation, and timely payout of sales commissions
• Ensure full accuracy, consistency, and auditability of all compensation processes
• Act as the main point of contact for commission-related queries, disputes, and clarifications from the sales team
• Lead the design and governance of sales compensation plans in collaboration with Sales, Finance, and RevOps teams
• Translate business goals into effective incentive structures that drive desired sales behaviors
• Maintain and improve compensation documentation including quotas, crediting rules, accelerators, and exceptions
• Analyze payout trends, attainment levels, and plan effectiveness to support leadership decision-making
• Partner with Finance on accruals, forecasting, and compensation reporting
• Administer and optimize commission tools and systems such as QuotaPath, CaptivateIQ, Spiff, or Xactly
• Support CPQ and pricing operations, including discount frameworks, approval workflows, and quoting processes
• Collaborate with Sales and Finance to ensure accurate and compliant deal execution
• Provide training and enablement to sales teams on commission structures and quoting processes
• Track and report key deal metrics such as discount trends, approval timelines, and sales cycle efficiency
📊 Requirements:
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in Sales Compensation, Revenue Operations, or Deal Desk roles
• Strong expertise in commission plan design, quota management, and payout governance
• Experience with commission management tools (ICM platforms)
• Familiarity with SaaS pricing models and CPQ systems
• Strong analytical and data modeling skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Experience in startups or scaling companies is highly preferred
