Description:

Join Box — a market leader in intelligent content management — as a Deal Desk Analyst supporting complex sales transactions across the business. In this role you’ll sit at the intersection of Sales, Legal, Finance, Revenue Recognition and Product teams to streamline approvals, structure pricing for non-standard deals, and help sales move large, strategic opportunities forward.

  • Provide commercial, pricing, and product guidance to sales teams for large or non-standard deals, offering practical options that balance customer needs and company objectives.
  • Improve and automate the non-standard deal approval workflow: define thresholds and approvers, design routing and escalation logic, build exception alerts, and create practical templates, tips and special-terms hierarchies.
  • Act as a trusted partner to cross-functional stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Revenue Recognition, Professional Services, etc.) to accelerate reviews and approvals while maintaining compliance with policies.
  • Identify training gaps and help create sales enablement materials (pricing FAQs, approval templates, negotiation playbooks) to increase speed and consistency in deal handling.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts for deal desk processes, tools and templates to increase throughput and reduce friction for sales.
  • Support integration planning for new business lines and product offerings — assess quoting readiness, participate in tool enhancements, drive testing, and deliver functionality required by the deal desk.
  • Advise sales on deal structure, objection handling, contractual options, and commercial trade-offs to protect revenue and simplify the customer experience.
  • Facilitate standardized contract/document generation and ensure deals comply with published sales and business approval policies.

Who you are (profile & skills):

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience is preferred — backgrounds such as consulting, financial analysis, sales operations, pricing, order management or legal are a fit.
  • Strong analytical mindset, sound judgment, and the ability to manage many deal requests concurrently.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator who can build relationships with senior stakeholders across the company.
  • A self-starter who coaches others, mentors where needed, and drives improvements in process and tooling.
  • Experience with Salesforce is required; familiarity with Apttus CPQ is a plus.
  • BS/BA required.
