Description:

Allstate is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Data Scientist to join its growing analytics and AI team. This remote opportunity is designed for professionals who are passionate about building data-driven solutions, working with modern AI systems, and contributing to scalable machine learning and agentic AI applications that support real-world insurance and risk management use cases.

In this role, you will collaborate with senior data scientists and cross-functional teams to support the full lifecycle of AI and machine learning development, including data collection, model building, deployment, and ongoing performance monitoring. You will also gain exposure to advanced AI systems, cloud-based architectures, and emerging agentic AI frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and enhancement of AI-driven and agentic AI solutions across business functions

• Assist in data collection, exploratory data analysis, model development, and deployment processes

• Collaborate with senior data scientists to design and implement machine learning models and AI agents

• Participate in building scalable cloud-based AI systems and production-ready analytics solutions

• Break down complex AI and predictive modeling tasks into manageable components and track progress effectively

• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to solve business problems and improve decision-making

• Work with LLMs, Python, SQL, and modern data science tools to support analytical workflows

• Assist in researching new data sources, models, and AI frameworks in collaboration with team members

• Contribute to documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication materials

• Support prototype development and integration of AI models into business systems

Essential Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in Python for data analysis, machine learning, or production-level development

• Experience with SQL and familiarity with tools such as R, TensorFlow, or PyTorch

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and cloud environments

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, observability, and cloud security fundamentals

• Familiarity with LLM tools and agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK, or similar

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in collaborative, fast-paced technical environments

Desirable Skills:

• Exposure to AI governance or risk management concepts

• Experience with Azure Foundry or AWS Bedrock

• Interest in AI auditing, model risk management, or enterprise AI systems

• Familiarity with low-code/no-code AI tools such as Microsoft 365 agents

• Understanding of enterprise-scale cloud AI solutions
